Natto Pasta - Salad

Halve the cherry tomatoes, dice the avocado and cucumber and mix with al dente spaghetti and natto. Season with olive oil, lemon juice and dark soy sauce.

Optional: salad leaves such as rocket, wakame seaweed or nori leaves finely chopped, roasted sunflower seeds or sesame seeds.

Natto with egg on rice

Mix two heaped tablespoons of natto with finely chopped spring onions, some dark shoyu and a raw egg. Pour the natto mixture onto a bowl of cooked rice.

Optional: mix in finely chopped okra pods.
