Kuro means black in Japanese and the essential oil of Kuromoji is a main ingredient of this perfume. Kuromoji is a plant native to Japan where it has long been used medicinally and as a tea. Its beautiful, graceful fragrance is the starting point of this perfume, which describes a balmy summer night in a southern country, a night walk without a specific destination. Out of the darkness, vague odours can be perceived that draw you in. Resinous, tart scents of trees, for example. Occasional clouds of exotic flowers that exude their seductive scent even in the dark, warm night.

The alcohol in this perfume was macerated with koji rice. This rounded off its pungency and added a hint of koji fragrance to the alcohol. Other main ingredients of the Unixsex perfume are budda wood, cypress and rosewood.
