What sets our kuro apart
Kuro means black in Japanese, and Kuromoji essential oil is a key ingredient in this perfume. Kuromoji is a plant native to Japan that has long been used there for medicinal purposes and as a tea. Its beautiful, graceful scent is the starting point for this perfume, which describes a balmy summer night in a southern country, a night-time stroll with no particular destination. From the darkness, vague scents can be perceived that draw you in. Resinous, tart scents from trees, for example. Occasionally, clouds of exotic flowers that exude their seductive scent even in the dark, warm night.

The alcohol in this perfume was macerated with rice koji. This rounded off its sharpness and added a hint of koji fragrance to the alcohol. Other main ingredients of the unisex perfume are budda wood, cypress and rosewood.
